Insanity Incarnate

So back in 2010 I wanted to enter a monthly emoticon animation contest with the theme of weapons or something along those lines. I did this for the contest:

but I decided I didn't like that animation, it was kind of boring and overly simple. I decided to revisit it with what would become to most complex animation I had done to date:

And with that entry, I got second place and a Daily Deviation, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a poster at the wonderful land that is dA (in other words, it doesn't mean much, but it's a cool little ego boost). I felt proud of myself for the animation and it's always remained the crowning jewel of my emoticon days that I show off to people when talking about my pixel animation work.

Well after posting the last little pixel animation test, everyone was complimenting me about how good it was, but I honestly don't feel like it's anything special. So I decided to do something that will hopefully actually feel like it's worth the praise.

That something is a revisit of that emoticon animation, but with full bipeds instead of limbless spheres. Hope you enjoy!
